Cook Children’s Health Care System and Celina ISD Announce Partnership to Support Growing Student Community
Celina, Texas (Aug. 6, 2025) - Cook Children’s Medical Center - Prosper and Celina Independent School District (ISD) are proud to announce a new pediatric health care partnership launching in the 2025-2026 school year. This collaboration brings Cook Children’s trusted pediatric care directly into Celina ISD, ensuring students have fast, expert access to health services – right from school.

This partnership reflects the spirit of Celina ISD’s guiding motto, Life Connected, by embedding high-quality pediatric care into the daily experience of nearly 6,000 students in one of Texas’ fastest-growing school districts.

What the Partnership Means for Families
Beginning in Fall 2025, students at all Celina ISD campuses will benefit from:
- Access to Cook Children’s Virtual Health through the school nurse’s office, enabling real-time video visits with pediatric providers.
- In-school diagnosis and treatment for common illnesses such as fevers, earaches, rashes, sore throats and pink eye – minimizing classroom disruptions and parent work absences.
- Seamless communication with primary care providers, prescription support and visit summaries.
