How to lead through complexity

Episode 9: Pediatric Leadership Podcast

We talked last week about complexity and how it is changing the way that business and particularly health care organizations must operate if they want to be successful. To position ourselves for success, we must have leaders that not only accept complexity but that are agile and ready to change in complex environments.

Today, we are going to talk again with Mary Uhl Bien. If you didn’t catch our last conversation, go to checkupnewsroom.com/pediatricleadership and listen to "What is complexity?" Understanding the answer to this question will be important to discussing how you can learn to lead through complexity. Mary is the BNSF Endowed Professor of Leadership at the Texas Christian University Neeley School or Business. She teaches in the Advancing Healthcare Leadership class which is a combined initiative between Cook Children’s and TCU.
