Cook Children’s - Prosper Named Best Hospital, Best Emergency Department By Readers

Cook Children’s Medical Center - Prosper earned two “Best Of” awards from the readers of Living Magazine - Prosper & Celina:

Thousands of babies, children and teens from across the northern region of North Texas have been able to stay closer to home while receiving high-quality care at Cook Children’s Medical Center - Prosper. To plan for the region’s growth, this year, the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) was relocated to the second floor and the medical center added a third operating room. The emergency department team has grown and expanded with additional patient beds.

Whether it’s a life-saving intervention or a moment of simple comfort, we've provided excellent care with kindness, collaboration and safety for every patient who enters our world-class medical center. 

Emergency Department Nurse Manager Brittanye Ehle says the staff is honored with the Readers' Choice award.

“Since our opening, we have doubled our staff, expanded our rooms and strengthened our connections with local EMS services, all in the pursuit of providing excellent care for our patients and their families," Ehle said. "This award reflects our dedication to serving our community with the highest standards of patient care, and we are incredibly grateful for the trust and support we have received. Being recognized by the community is a privilege and we look forward to continuing to provide compassionate, exceptional service.”
